I’m thrilled to have Justine back again this year so we can teach each other new skills. Educational projects are so important - whatever your age!
According to Justine, doing her previous internships with me helped her improve her sewing techniques and she scored an incredible 18.5/20 (as well as passing all her exams with flying colours!). A big thank you to you all, from us both, for your support. It’s vital that we keep helping her generation and pass forward ... pass on our skills, our craftsmanship, our business knowledge and at the same time there is so much that they can teach us.
She'll be here until mid December, so we have created a new work room for her beyond the courtyard that used to be my photographic studio. We’ll still be able to photograph there but I hope it will become an even greater hive of creativity.
Justine will be helping me run the shop so I can sew without interruptions but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see you! Please keep popping in. I have new styles in sumptuous fabrics ... including a wonderful grey cashmere that you might just see as a coat very soon!
PS I’ll also be launching a feature where you can book an appointment online and take a good look around the shop for a virtual browse. In the meantime, email me if you'd like to have a go.
