Recyled Kelp seaweed earrings
These earrings are sourced from the Great African Sea Forest, which is recognised as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
Each pair of earrings is 100% unique. The seaweed is collected from a South African beach, situation in Cape Town. By transforming it into a product, the excess beach seaweed is redirected away from a landfill.
Kelp forests are amazing allies in the climate change battle. They naturally absorb CO2. But once the seaweed starts to decompose, the harmful gas is released back into the atmosphere. Our products ensure that the gas stays out of the system.
NUKELP PROJECT is a social enterprise, focusing on job creation, while contributing to the fight against climate change.
