Striped Ribbed Sweater, Olive and Brown, No. 7

A sweater knitted by hand in single rib, pure 4-ply wool, striped through a muted palette of olive, brown, cream and grey. 

The bands are narrow and many, so no single colour takes hold. The rib keeps them in a steady vertical rhythm and gives the wool its close, forgiving fit.

Narrower than No. 5, this one sits closer to the body at 36 cm flat under the arms, stretching comfortably to 50 cm. The same 56 cm length from shoulder to hem. A wide neckline sits at the collarbone, sleeves finish at the elbow, and the body follows the line of the shoulders rather than standing away from them. Moss, bark and stone in quiet succession.

Close fitting. Pure wool, warm without weight.
